Membership is open to people over 18 years old who live or work in South East England. The club welcomes and encourages enthusiastic new members of all interests and abilities. The club does not undertake to train members in any mountain activities and emphasises that members
must take full responsibility for their own safety in the mountains. If you have any questions regarding eligibility, contact the membership secretary.
Membership Rates
Introductory membership costs £30 (£25 annual subscription + £5 joining fee). All memberships are renewable on the 1st of January each year, with the exception of new members whose applications are dated on or after the 1st October of the existing year.

Send the completed form along with your membership fee to the membership secretary, Chris Bailey:

Cheques should be made out to "London Mountaineering Club"
The form must be signed: emailed forms cannot be accepted.
The Joining Process
Once you have sent in your form and cheque and your application has been accepted,
you will become an introductory member. You will be sent a members' information pack,
a membership card, the latest copy of the newsletter and a directory of members.
You will also be able to access the members' section of the website, which contains
discussion forums and an online directory of members.
After joining, you may apply for full membership, generally after you have been away on a few meets.
Full membership will allow you to:
vote at AGMs
take guests of your own on meets and to the club hut
To apply for full membership, you will require a proposer and seconder among existing full members (both of whom must have been full members for more than a year)
