Social evenings are held on the third Wednesday of each month except in December, where the Xmas calendar will dictate the socials. We meet in the upstairs room of a pub called The Devereux at 20 Devereux Court, Temple, London WC2R 3JJ (map).
Socialising starts in the pub from 7pm and the main event kicks off at about 8pm in the upstairs room.
Sometimes we have a purely social evening or a quiz night, but socials are talks and slide or movie presentations by outside speakers or talented club members on climbing and mountaineering related topics.
THE MILK LAKE MARCH
Do you want all your dreams to come true? Hindus believe this is possible with a swim in the Milk Lake.
This evening Tony Hamza shows the video of his journey to the holy lake at 4,500 metres in the Everest region.
He travels with a gap year student through the foothills of Nepal to the base of the great Himalayan peaks.

Eoins first trip to the Alps with the LMC was in 2015. It did not go as planned for him. A few years on, and hopefully a little wiser, he shares his experiences, including this year’s trip to Chamonix. Dave Wigley will be telling us about his recent trip to Lofoten within The Arctic Circle in Norway.

From the Uk to Australia, Africa to Asia and everywhere in between Frank and Mo will be showing a slideshow and telling us tales of their adventures together doing long distance walks and treks all over the globe. Frank and Mo have been active LMC members for many years and this promises to be an exciting talk.

This year we are celebrating our Christmas party in a beautiful Nepalese restaurant right by Euston station (NW1 1DA) and we would love if you could join us.
The LMC Christmas party replaces the December social and is open to all club members or tentative club members! It will be held on Dec 13th and the table is booked for 8pm.
We have reserved 18 spaces - places will be given on a first come first served basis so email me at alibyrnie@gmail.com if you would like to reserve a space. Also please let me know if you are vegan, vegetarian or have any dietary requirements.
