For three weeks the expedition will explore the fantastic mountain scenery around the world's 10th highest mountain - Annapurna.
The expedition will depart from Nepal's capital city Kathmandu and fly to Pokhara. From there the route heads north to travel part of the ancient trade route to Tibet before heading east through a wilderness towards Tilicho Lake. The Mesokanta La pass, at 5300m, will be crossed followed by a visit to the frozen lake. After another pass a climb of Chulu West (6419m) will be attempted. Then there is a crossing of the Thorong La (5416m).
There will be a full Nepali team of climbing Sherpas, kitchen crew and porters to help with this ambitious journey through several high-altitude wilderness areas.
