The Ötztal alps situated 50 miles south west of Innsbruck is a truly beautiful region of Austria with enough climbs, klettersteige, and mountains to keep anyone entertained for a couple of weeks.
The mountains are around 3500-3750 meters with the tallest being the Wildspitze at 3772 m which should be enough to make anybody pant, for your days of there’s plenty of sports climbing and klettersteige (via ferrata) in the valley to keep you busy, with may be the odd beer thrown in - who could ask for more?
For the climbers I believe there are a lot of routs at all grades but as of yet I have not tracked down a climbing guide
Finally, of course there is the traditional Austrian hospitality.
