Optional Classroom session -
All are invited to a pre-meet map and compass skills refresher/starter lesson.
This will take place on Monday 7th Nov 7pm The Devereux pub in Temple. Please bring OL17 Ordnance Survey map and a compass".
Weekend information -
Navigation using a traditional map and compass is a key skill to travel safely in the mountains.
The weekend will focus on practical exercises and mountain routes to allow members to learn and practice navigation/map reading skills, including night navigation. Complete beginners and more experienced are all welcome.
The meet will once again be run by Stephen Clark an experienced LMC member and Emma Blount will be the meet steward. If you have any questions about the meet please contact Emma.
Arrive at the hut on Friday 11 And depart on Sunday 13 November.
