‘On the slabs the situations are usually superb, protection is at worst adequate, and the rock is normally solid. The excellent friction combines with the amendable angle, and the emphasis on footwork rather than arms is welcome news for the old, weak, infirm, and those suffering surfeits of Peak District limestone.’
Tides are favourable and the plan is to camp at Easewell Farm Campsite which is within a short drive from Baggy Point.
