Focus is on snow and ice alpine routes accessible from the Midi Plan and Aguille de Midi lifts, but lots of other activities possible and all are welcome.
Staying at the HI Chamonix Mont-Blanc Youth Hostel that has cheap dorms and rooms and half price lift passes.
No car hire necessary - easier and cheaper just to use the shuttle bus from Geneva airport.
