A day out in the northern Chilterns. Starting at Tring we will take the historic Ridgeway approach to the Ivinghoe Beacon, via the Pitstone Windmill. We will then explore the grounds of the Asheridge estate visiting the old college building and Bridgewater Monument. We will conclude the hike in Aldbury where a stop at the Greyhound Inn can help us quench our thirst. There is plenty of space to enjoy a drink on the green together. Then it's a 20 min walk back to the station.
