**CANCELLED DUE TO COVID**
For 2021's now annual LMC Ice Climbing Meet we're heading to Rjukan in Norway.
Rjukan is reckoned (by the Norwegian Alpine Club) as the best location in Northern Europe for ice climbing. Given that it is without sun six months of the year, conditions are optimal for ice climbing, so they're probably telling the truth.
We've booked a house with 12 spaces in nearby Tinn, complete with: kitchen, dining room, 2.5 bathrooms, stunning mountain views and even a sauna!
To book your place you need to have paid a £100 deposit by 31st October, 2020.
Accommodation will cost £20 - £25 p.p.p.n depending on how many sign up.
Best way to get there is to fly to Oslo and hire cars. Then it's a 3 hour drive to Rjukan.

Given the current uncertainty around Covid we recommend getting flexible tickets or holding off on buying them until the picture becomes more certain.

In the event that travel restrictions, or issues related to Covid-19, prevent travel to and from Norway or would make the trip unsafe, we will cancel and refund any deposits paid. This can be done up until the day before the start of the trip.
