Make most of the daylight and come along for a nice long walk in the picturesque Epping Forest to enjoy autumn colours in full bloom.
One of the great lungs of London covering nearly 9 square miles is easily reachable by London Underground.
The walk will take you deep in the forest exploring many of the hidden lakes and hills.
Starting point: Epping Station (Central Line)- setting off at 10.00am
Finishing point: Snaresbrook Station
Distance: Approx 20k with an option to end it early at Visitor Centre, Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge (Chingford Station) or extend it to Wanstead Park (Redbridge Station)
The walk is on Sunday 4th October, please ignore the end date of the meet, it's only a day trip.
