South Down Link Cycling Trip
24 Oct 2020 to 25 Oct 2020

A cycling adventure in the South Downs — Guildford to Brighton, 70km (or 100km if anyone is keen to go beyond humanitarian bubble).

It's rather an easy and pleasant ride on mainly disused rail track, with some bridleway and bits of public road as well. Gravel/touring bicycles are ideal for it, hardtail Halford's specials will be fine too, rugged hybrids should also cope, but slicks probably aren't so good (although you never know, so you're welcome to try!)

There is an escape or join option at Christ Church station about 25km further on our route.
Start at Guildford train station, main entrance, 9am.
Finish Hove or Brighton beach, with FishAndChipsAndTwoSmokingPintsOfLager on the beach.
We need at least four souls to sign up for this challenge and make it an official club meet!

NB: This is a one day meet on Saturday 24th October.

Please note: By attending this meet you are confirming that you have read and understood the club's Covid-19 Advice to Meet Participants (found under Info in the website main menu or shown in red on the Meets calendar page).
