A ten mile day hike around Surrey's Box Hill.
We will be leaving at 08:10 from London Victoria to arrive at Box Hill & Westhumble station at around 09:07 (the train will also call at Clapham Junction at around 08:17).
Train tickets will be about £10 for a return (or £6 with a railcard).
The walk will take you through Norbury Park, Mickleham Downs, Headley Heath and Box Hill. As a final stop, we will also be visiting the stepping stones.
We will be crossing some moderately challenging terrain, and yes, there is a big hill at the end.
Ignore the end date in the meets description. This is a day hike.
This is a circular hike. we will finish at Box Hill & Westhumble station.
UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE
Unfortunately there are some railway works on Sunday. We therefore need to take the train from Waterloo (not Victoria) at 08:02 to arrive at Westhumble at 08:51. The train will call at Vauxhal at 08:06 and Clapham Junction at 08:11.
If you are coming by car, please make sure you get to Westhumble at around 08:50. Once we have collected everyone, we'd be planning to set off around 09:00.
