New members of the LMC are especially welcome on this meet, which will give new and existing club members a chance to climb together.
You don't need to be an experienced trad climber to come on this meet, but should at the very least be confident lead climbing and belaying indoors. Please get in touch with the meet steward (Adam) so we can arrange climbing partners before the meet based on experience and interests.
In terms of climbing gear, at a minimum you need to have a harness, rock shoes, helmet and belay device. If you need any equipment then please ask and we will try to borrow from other members.
The meet will be taking place in the Peak District, with plenty of easily accessible gritstone crags for all levels. Part of the group will be staying at Fallcliffe Cottage, and some at North Lees campsite.
